Having been a New Yorker for 3 years, I was cracking up about the pages of New Yorkers wearing black. Not sure how Ashley Evanson became so saavy to so many parts of the world but she will definitely give your little one an insiders view of four big cities with this series. My 5 year old and I have loved looking at them and reading them. Even my older children have been flipping through them since we ordered them. My children have not been to NYC but they have been to London and Paris and San Francisco so remembering their adventures through the glorious illustrations was enjoyable for them too. I could stare at the illustrations all day. They make me happy like Henri Matisse cut outs make me happy. I wish I could draw like this.
These books are so creative, colorful, fun, and full of information for baby! I love that my kids can learn the basics while getting a good base of other places. NYC is my favorite place, so I read this to my kids every day. haha A must buy!!!!!
After collecting many Big city books for my kids, I never wanted to read them at bedtime because they lacked spark, great design, and anything educational. These Hello World books are the best line of travel books and we ADORE the art, creativity, and design! Cannot wait to gift these to all my friends!
