Relatable Honest Inspiration for Keto Success! Refreshingly relatable story within a cookbook/how to combo. Truth to tell, I have a collection of fantastic Keto Cookbooks from other great authors, but saw this book advertised on Instagram and ordered it. So very glad I did!This book is excellent for beginners. The author is openly honest with before and after photos, a relatable story and doable recipes that it makes it seem to the reader, “I can do this too!”I have a nutrition background and been interested in holistic, natural eating for decades. Years ago I had lost all the weight through raw juice fasting and working out. Then 14 years ago, I bought, manage and am the chef for a successful boutique BnB . Over the next 5 years, I would lose 4 close family members. I was devastated. Between the grief, the daily schedule of long hours, problem solving and constantly cooking and baking, sadly the weight crept back on.After reading about the Paleo, Primal, and Keto diet for years, I started a Ketogenic diet a little over a month ago.I still bake the most gorgeous, lightest scones and make beautiful breakfasts and from-scratch organic desserts for guests. But except for the “slow roasted thick sliced bacon” and the fresh ground organic coffee, I no longer ‘taste test’ everything and no longer eat sugar or grains. The aches and pains are leaving. I’m feeling more energetic. Day by day, with prayer and determination, the Keto diet is working to heal my body. I see the Keto Diet as a gift from God. I stayed up late last night just absorbing all the information. What is SO AMAZING is she has laid it out so clear and "simple". Keto information and exactly how to do it to get results can be confusing with all the different resources. She gives you shopping list, recipes, a 30 day plan to get you started. One of the other aspects I like is is she makes it "real" , fore example, in the meal plan she uses the left overs from the day before for the next day. Her story hit me like a ton of bricks, I kept going thats me, yep, been there etc. I am looking forward to this weekend and making the "simple" yet delicious recipes! If in doubt whether or not to order this book, I am telling you you wont be disappointed, it so well done!EASY COOKBOOK Especially for a Keto beginner!!! Love love love this book. Breakfast, all recipes with page numbers for breakfast only (with pictures before you have to flip anywhere!) same with lunch and dinner. SO EASY TO NAVIGATE. And if there is a sauce or a side for a recipe that’s needed and it’s not under the main ingredients, she gives the page number on where to find it so it’s easy to flip to and from so you can go back to cooking.Also! Not a lot of chatter in the beginning either. A quick blurb about herself and beautiful family and that’s it. LOVE that she’s straight to the point. It’s a cookbook. Give me recipes. And that’s what she’s done.Fabulous. Wonderful. My kitchen Bible.So many delicious recipes.THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME STICK TO KETO ***
